Tölvupóstur og viðhengi hans sem starfsfólk Sjóvá sendir út getur innihaldið trúnaðarupplýsingar og/eða einkamál og er eingöngu ætlaður þeim sem hann er stílaður á. Óheimil meðferð tölvupósts og viðhengja hans getur varðað skaðabóta- og refsiábyrgð samkvæmt lögum um fjarskipti. Hafi tölvupóstsending ranglega borist þér vinsamlega gættu fyllsta trúnaðar, tilkynntu sendanda og eyðileggðu sendinguna eins og skylt er samkvæmt 47. gr. laga nr. 81/2003 um fjarskipti. Efni tölvupósts og viðhengja er á ábyrgð þess starfsmanns sem sendir tölvupóstinn ef það tengist ekki starfsemi Sjóvá.
