Certification in Information Security
Sjóvá is certified according to the ISO 27001:2022 standard for information security and therefore meets very strict requirements for handling information.
This is an international standard that helps companies implement, maintain, and improve information security. An independent auditor conducts annual audits for us and confirms the certification.
Equal Pay Certification
Sjóvá has equal pay certification according to the ÍST85:2012 standard. We have held equal pay certification since 2014, initially from VR and then from the Ministry of Welfare (Equal Pay Symbol) since 2017.
The equal pay certification confirms that we have an active equal pay system that meets the requirements of the regulation on equal pay certification for companies and institutions, no. 1030/2017, and the law on equal status and equal rights of the genders, no. 150/2020, regarding certification of equal pay systems for companies and institutions.
An independent auditor conducts annual audits of our equal pay system and confirms the equal pay certification.
