Sjóvá and IKEA, in collaboration with The Child Safety Centre, invite parents, grandparents, and others caring for young children to attend a free prevention course on child safety at home.

The instructor is Herdís L. Storgaard, a nurse and the director of The Child Safety Centre. Herdís will share practical tips on how to make your home safer for young children and what to consider when choosing safety products.

• Wednesday, September 23 at 9:30
• Thursday, September 24 at 9:30
The course lasts about 50 minutes and will take place next to the café on the 2nd floor of IKEA, Kauptún 4, Garðabær. A breakfast will be served from 9:15.
Space is limited, so it’s best to sign up early here.
Please note that a confirmation email will be sent to those who get a spot in the course.
Sjóvá and IKEA will give all participants a gift bag containing useful safety products for the home along with a gift for the child.
