Ásdís Hrund Gísladóttir has been appointed Chief Risk Officer at Sjóvá. She has served as a risk management specialist at the company since 2020.
Before joining Sjóvá, Ásdís worked as a specialist in financial supervision of pension funds and insurance companies at the Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland. She holds a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Reykjavík University and an M.Sc. degree in Engineering Management from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
Ásdís says she is excited to take on her new role as Chief Risk Officer and looks forward to contributing to the development and operations of Sjóvá. “I’ve worked at Sjóvá since 2012, on and off.
