ESG Sustainability Assessment
In recent years, Reitun has conducted ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainability assessments for Sjóvá. According to the June 2026 assessment, Sjóvá received a B1 rating and a score of 80 out of 100.
Sjóvá ranked above average in all categories (environmental, social, and governance) compared to other assessed companies, with the Icelandic market average standing at 73 points in June 2026.
Sjóvá achieved an outstanding score in the social category and has maintained this distinction since its first assessment in 2022.
